Overview
The Falcon Gascoyne Project, located approximately 200km northwest of Meekatharra in Western Australia, is a joint venture between West Coast Silver and Falcon Metals Ltd (ASX:FAL).
The project is strategically positioned within a region exhibiting tectonic similarities to the Albany-Fraser Zone at the eastern margin of the Yilgarn Craton, suggesting potential for significant mineralisation.
Geological Setting
Errabiddy resides in a structurally complex area with geological characteristics akin to the Albany-Fraser Zone. This setting is conducive to hosting orogenic gold mineralisation and intrusive-hosted nickel-copper deposits. The presence of such geological features enhances the prospectivity of the area for discovering substantial mineral resources.
Exploration Strategy
The exploration program at Errabiddy is designed to systematically assess the potential for orogenic gold and nickel-copper mineralisation. The strategy includes detailed geological mapping, geophysical surveys, and targeted drilling campaigns to identify and delineate mineralised zones. The collaboration with Falcon Metals Ltd provides additional expertise and resources to advance the exploration efforts effectively.
